Homeownership Matters
Habitat Gaston is developing the Dixon Village neighborhood in response to the dire need for affordable housing. Home values are seeing double-digit growth year over year, and rents are also increasing at the same pace. At the same time, wages are not keeping pace, and many families are unable to afford even entry-level housing.
We are very excited to see Dixon Village come to life around us. This neighborhood represents a dream for families who would not otherwise be able to purchase a home that they can afford on the wages that they make. Housing is not just about shelter. It’s about owning a safe place to call home and building memories. It represents a gateway and an opportunity to build a better future. With the strength and stability that owning an affordable home brings, Habitat families can focus on their lives, their families, and their paths to a brighter future.
Join us for an information application session on January 25th from 5:30pm to 6:30pm on the qualifications for the homeownership program.
