Job Description – ReStore Donations Coordinator

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

This position will manage the donation scheduling process: answer the donations hotline, schedule donations, route trucks, develop relationships with key ReStore donors.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service in answering all phone calls and returning all voicemails/emails in a timely manner
  • Build long-term, cooperative, positive working relationships with drivers
  • Improve overall cost efficiency
  • Use computer applications to identify truck locations at all times.
  • Use computer applications to schedule all donation pickups.
  • Be in constant communication with drivers and store staff as changes in schedule occur
  • Run the trucks  in the most safe, efficient, effective manner possible
  • Other tasks as requested by the ReStore Manager
  • Conduct surveys (individual donors) and truck audits to measure success and maintain quality control

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in customer service or related profession
  • Strong telephone etiquette
  • Excellent organizational and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at one time.
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Professional demeanor
  • Positive Attitude
  • Outstanding interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be able to adapt to changing priorities and meet multiple deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook,)
  • Experience with data entry

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to operate a phone and sit at a computer for the majority of an 8 hour day
  • Ability to climb stairs

Internal Interactions:

ReStore Staff, Habitat Staff

External Interactions:

Customers, Donors, Volunteers 

Level of Authority:

  • Require minimal supervision 
  • Report to ReStore Assistant Manager
  • Decision making as it pertains to drivers and logistics 

Estimated Time Commitment:

40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday
