Why Shop at the ReStore

Making a Positive Impact on the Community

Each item you’ll find at Habitat for Humanity ReStore has been donated by people just like you – people who believe that making a positive impact on the community is something worth believing in. When these donations are sold, the proceeds go directly toward helping Habitat for Humanity of Gaston County build and renovate homes locally with families who are in desperate need of a hand up, not a hand out. And, remember, our selection is changing regularly as new items are donated and purchases are made. If you miss a day at the ReStore, you may very well miss that perfect deal!

We accept cash, credit, and checks

However, the check must have a local address, phone number, and driver’s license number in order to be accepted. In addition, the store gladly accepts cash, credit, and debit.

It saves you money

ReStore features new and used items for your home, all priced at more than 50% off retail prices. The store is completely open to the public, and we get new merchandise everyday!

It helps the environment

Shopping at Habitat for Humanity ReStore reduces the amount of useable items being thrown into our already overloaded landfills. And that’s good for every single human being.

It’s good for the community

Proceeds from every ReStore purchase help Habitat for Humanity of Gaston County provide local families with the opportunity to achieve their dream of homeownership.
