Q: Does the ReStore accept personal checks?

A: No. However, the store gladly accepts cash, credit, and debit.

Q: Can I return an item I bought?

A: There are no returns, refunds, exchanges, or store credit.

Q: I found an item I like, but it’s too big to take home today. Can I still buy it?

A: Purchased items can be held at the ReStore for up to 2 business days. At the end of business on day 2, unclaimed purchased items will be considered abandoned and will be returned to the ReStore sales floor to be available for purchase.

Another option is to arrange for the ReStore to deliver your purchase. There is a delivery fee, based on mileage, to your residence. Inquire at checkout when making your purchase for details.

Q: Can I place an item on hold or layaway?

A: ReStore does not have a layaway plan. ReStore does not put items on HOLD.

Q How are the items priced?

A: All items are priced between 50%-90% (and sometimes more!) of the retail value. We try to do research online to make sure the prices are low but fair.

Q: Is the ReStore open to the public?

A: Yes!

Q: Where do the proceeds from the sales go?

A: All of the proceeds go directly to the Habitat for Humanity Gaston County, to build homes for low-income families in the Gaston County area.

Q: Does the ReStore deliver furniture and other items?

A: YES, the ReStore will deliver your purchase. There is a delivery fee, based on mileage, to your residence. Inquire at checkout when making your purchase for details.
