  • Live or work in Gaston County for at least 6 months
  • No collections or judgments
  • Willing to work on budgeting

Need for Housing

Applicants who currently do not qualify for a conventional loan may potentially be eligible for our program. Needs include, but are not limited to:

  • Living in overcrowded conditions
  • Living in substandard housing
  • Current resident of public housing

Willingness to Partner

Applicants must be willing to complete a set number of sweat equity hours by the home’s completion. While earning these hours, homeowner education and financial literacy courses will be scheduled for the applicant to attend. Each family will make installment payments during the program for the closing cost.
